9th April 2011. The engagement of Ali Reza + Farhana took place at Glenmarie Court, Shah Alam, Selangor. The event was held at Farhana's aunt place. The hantaran (engagement presents) are all 13 together. The most I ever see.
All family member gather up to give a hand to help . Her aunties made the hantaran, her mother made the flower decorations, her little nephews helps here and there.. Last but not least, all the kids are the most 'helping' one, they make noises, running around the house and disturbing their mom while they do the works. Kids are always kids.
Farhana seems so relax all the way for the engagement. Since the early preparation, make up until the engagement took place. But one thing for sure, she was so shy to be the center of the attention. The discussion session between the bride-to-be family and bridegroom-to-be are part of Malay wedding culture.
The solemnization and wedding reception ceremony will be held in November 2011. Another seven months ahead. Farhana is etting all excited for it.
